About Capacity for Community

Hello change-makers!  I’m Nicole Beatty, CEO & Chief Community Builder at Capacity for Community.  My business mandate is simple: to help you make good things happen for your good cause.

I’m a community organizer, systems thinker, strategic planner, social entrepreneur, donor, volunteer, board member, writer, researcher, fundraiser, speaker and trainer.  And like you, I want to make an impact in the world around me.  Don’t know where to start?  Designing a new program or community solution?  Seeking funding to launch your idea or venture?  Interested in learning how to build capacity for your community? Need to hire someone to engage your stakeholders, communicate your impact or manage your project from beginning to end?

Then I’m your girl.

I am a Certified Fund Raising Executive with an entrepreneurial spirit whose love for community has raised over $30 million for local and global causes.  I’ve co-founded and co-designed several programs and organizations.  I am passionate about start-up social enterprises, international movements, and rural initiatives that support education, the arts, women’s rights, healthcare, food security, poverty reduction, housing and the environment.  My curiosity and career have provided me with the opportunity to work with some phenomenal projects and organizations in Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia.  I have had the honour of collaborating with some of the most innovative minds to raise transformational gifts and design community programs that ultimately change lives.

I believe that change starts with a conversation.  So, let’s talk today to see what good things we can make happen for your good cause.
