WORKSHOP MODULE SUMMARIES:

Revenue Sustainability & Program Diversification –  Participants were instructed on how to develop a diverse revenue program, how to identify strategies for growth and were taught how to build a renewable and sustainable annual fund.

Donor Development & Prospect Research – Participants became equipped in best strategies for applying lead generation activities. They learned how to do basic profiling and acquired a better understanding of the process from suspect to solicitation.

Major Gifts – Participants worked on gift solicitation skills development, were coached on ‘how to make the ask’, and were given the necessary tools needed to upgrade their annual supporters to major donors.

Planned GivingParticipants learned how to properly ask a donor for a bequest and were given structure and assistance in designing a planned giving program. This module ensures participants gain appropriate knowledge about the different types of planned gifts and how best to educate and engage their donors.

Grants & SponsorshipParticipants learned how to write a winning case, market beyond sponsorship and how to prepare the budget.

Community Productions & Special Events – Participants uncovered new methods of how to link their mission to their market. They worked on developing a plan to produce a profitable event, and how to engage their community stakeholders beyond the celebrations.

Marketing & Social Media – Participants learned how to take their mission to market, utilize social media as a tool to acquire supporters, and integrate marketing with their fundraising efforts.

Writing the Annual Plan Participants receive useful guidance in planning the business case for their nonprofits or charitable organizations. They are taught how to effectively monitor and track their success, as well as forecast their cashflow for sustainability and impact.
